Ola Marie Hubbard, 87, died Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Focus Care at Summer Place Nursing Home in Beaumont. A native of LaCrosse, KS., then she moved to Texas eventually raising her family in Lumberton, Texas where she spent most of her adult life as a homemaker. She has lived in Beaumont for 12 years. Ola enjoyed photography and videoing, sewing, embroidery quilting, fishing, and especially spending time with her family. Ola was a longtime member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Beaumont and Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Lumberton.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 1:00 p.m, to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Ola's Life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
Ola was preceded in death by her loving husband Claude Hubbard, son Ona Christopher Hubbard, parents George and Marie Eva Sauer-Wolf, brother Marcellus George Wolf and his wife Edna, sister Almeda Wolf-Herman and her husband Alvin Herman, after Marie Eva's death, at a young age, Ola Marie and siblings were raised by her father and step-mother Mary Unrein-Jacobs. Ola's family welcomed in her step-siblings, Cecil Jacobs, Bernida Kisner, Alverna Kisner, and Delorse Leiker.
Ola is survived by her sons, Marion Hubbard his wife Bettie of DeRidder, LA., Greg Hubbard and his wife Bridget of Beaumont, daughter Claudia Hubbard of Lumberton. Ola's 5 grandchildren, Leighton Hubbard, Faith Landry and her husband Gerald, Jada Hubbard, Zoe Hubbard, and Hannah McDaniel, and her great-grandchildren Ryder Hubbard, Noah Hubbard, and Austyn Hubbard. Also Ola's sister Bernice Campbell of Texas, half-brother Richard Wolf of Kansas, and her step-siblings Al Jacobs of New Mexico and Edna Wolf of Kansas along with other nieces and nephews.
Ola will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
