John McIntyre III, age 69 passed away April 22, 2012 in Houston, Texas. He was born September 1, 1942 in Beaumont, to John and Dorothy McIntyre. John worked in construction for most of his life as a supervisor. He loved restoring old cars, taking them to car shows, working in his shop and working in his yard. He also loved spending time with his grandkids and his family. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one infant daughter.
He is survived by his wife Belinda McIntyre of Pollok, Texas, one son, John Eric McIntyre and wife Tracey of Friendswood, TX, two daughters, Dottie Odell Leblanc and husband Matthew of Mobile, AL, and Tracy Hartman and husband James of Mobile, AL, one sister, Dorothy Forman and husband Van, and five grandchildren, Cody McIntyre, Cameron McIntyre, Aidan McIntyre, Zachary Appel, and Ty Hartman, also two sister-in-laws, Haydee Gregory, and Rowena Vera Cruz.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. also at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
