William Guy Swope

William Guy Swope, 76, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 in Moreno Valley, California. He was born May 10, 1941 in San Bernardino, California to Joseph & Lois Swope. Guy graduated from Poly Technic High School in Sun Valley, CA in 1959. For most of his working life he worked in sales for Arrowhead and Sparkletts Water companies. Guy earned sales awards with Arrowhead water in 1977, 1978, 1981, 1983, 1987 and Sparkletts Water in 1997 and he was a sales rep and a respected sales trainer until he retired in 2011 from Sparkletts Water in Van Nuys, CA. He resided in Santa Clarita for 25 years and the San Fernando Valley for many years as well. For the past 6 ½ years he has been a Sun Lakes Country Club resident where he enjoyed playing golf. He and his wife, Eileen, took advantage of the many activities Sun Lakes has to offer with friends. Guy also loved to spend mornings at Donut DeLite with Friends discussing numerous topics.

Guy is survived by his wife, Eileen Swope of Banning; daughters, Shelly & husband Eddie Villalobos of Santa Clarita and Sandee & husband Ron Foose of Arizona; granddaughter, Megan Ellingson of Arizona; brothers, Stanley & wife Madeline Swope of Camarillo and Donald J. & wife Geri Swope of Torrance; sister Nancy & husband Pete Melville of Santa Clarita; and many loving nieces and nephews.
