Growing up across the street from you, I will always remember your parents… 
Mrs. Cronk (Laura)- wearing long floral print dresses and some beaded flat sandal, walking one of the beautifully HUGE cats you had,  on a leash.  If I remember correctly, he was like close to 20lbs and named  Nicodemus. 
And Mr. Cronk (Bob)- who was a very tall thin man with his salt & pepper colored, always perfectly groomed flat-top.  He always spoke at the same even tone and never seemed rushed or rattled (not even by your mom). 😉 hahaha
