Jackie Wayne Burns, age 78, of Beaumont, California passed away on June 12, 2019. Jack was born April 2, 1941 in McGehee, Arkansas. Jack resided in Louisiana until relocating to California, as a young merchant marine. He settled in Beaumont, after retiring from Long Beach Naval Shipyard and the California Army National Guard.
Jack is survived by his wife, Hortensia Irigoyen Burns; sons, Tim Burns and Scott Burns; daughters, Tami Bessert and Heather Shaffer; step-children, Eric Akbarpour and Vanesa Akbarpour; many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jack’s memorial service will be Saturday, June 29th 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Weaver Memorial Chapel, 1177 Beaumont Avenue, Beaumont, CA.
