Stephen was a man with a big soul and a kind heart. He was a hardworking man dedicated to his family, a reliable and faithful husband whose goal in life was to love, protect and provide for his family. He enjoyed camping, spending time in nature with his wife, daughter, son in-law and dogs, listening to birds, watching sunrises, sunsets and sitting by the campfire. He liked to spend time in Galveston walking on the beach or visiting the historical district trying to imagine the lives of those who lived there long ago.
He spent his Saturdays with his dad fishing, working on things or just hanging out together. He loved to travel. A favorite trip was to Russia to meet his wife’s family. He spent many years going to dirt track races and being the crew chief on his brother-in-laws race car.
Stephen loved family gatherings and was the master of frying shrimp and catfish. He loved good food, especially Mexican food, steaks, pizza and everything that his wife cooked. He never met a DQ Blizzard that he didn’t like.
He had the ability to build or repair anything, which was a good thing since no one else’s work was up to his high standards. He was a mechanic by trade and spoke very highly of his work family at Cook Ford. He will be loved and missed forever.
Stephen was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Faye Sullivan; sister, Tammie Sullivan and step-son, Ryan Sullivan.
He is survived by his wife, Anzhelika Sullivan; daughter and son-in-law, Veronika and Kenneth Capps; step-son, Michael Sullivan; father and best friend, Stephen F.
