Scott W. Eldridge Sr. was called home on October 17th, 2020 in his home of Baytown, Texas. He was born on November 4th, 1950 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, and is preceded in death by both parents, William L. Eldridge and Everlyn Chase Eldridge.
Scott Eldridge Sr. was a member of the Cedar Bayou Lodge where he was the Worshipful Master twice. He was awarded the Golden Trowel in 2010, and served as District Grand Master of District 30-F.
He worked for US Steel Texas Work from 1970- 1986 and for ExxonMobile from 1986-2007 when he retired.
Scott Eldridge Sr. is survived by the love of his life and wife of 50 years, Janet A. Eldridge. His brother Mark L. Eldridge and sister Sherry Eldridge, daughter Tamara A. Hughes and son-in-law Donald Hughes, son Scott W. Eldridge II and daughter-in-law Tina Eldridge. He was blessed with grandsons Scott Eldridge III and wife Nikki Eldridge, Blake C. Eldridge, and granddaughter Nicole P. Oler and husband Ryan Oler. He was the great-grandfather to Bradley W. Eldridge. Scott Eldridge Sr. is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearer’s to assist in the committal service are Mark L. Eldridge, Scott W. Eldridge II, Scott W. Eldridge III, Blake Eldridge, Mark W. Eldridge and Zak Moody.
Visitation will be held October 24th, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas. The Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Jose Pena on October 24th, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas. The service will include a Masonic service.
