Sandra M. Green

Mrs. Green was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., to Joseph and Patricia Lutz. She graduated Saint Augustine High School, and later moved to Texas where has lived and raised her family for more than four decades. She recently retired from Bayer in Baytown after 30 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as brothers Richard Lutz and Lawrence Lutz, and brother-in-law Reuben Belk.

One of her greatest points of pride was to be known as Mamaw to her seven grandchildren, all of whom survive her: Jeremey Hensarling, Heather Curry, Hunter Curry, Bailey Ballard, Blake Hensarling, Landon Hensarling and Kyleigh Curry. Mrs. Green is survived by daughters Becky Chmielewski; Amy Hensarling and husband, Glenn; and Cristy Ballard-Curry and husband, Shawn Curry; and son Shelby Green and fiancé, Kalli. She is survived by brother Joe Lutz and wife, Doreen; sister, Patti Lutz Belk; brother Timothy Lutz and wife, Terry; and sister-in-law Charlene Lutz. Surviving nieces and nephews are Stacy Lutz Preston, Heidi Lutz, Trevor Lutz, and Tabitha Lutz.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX, 77521 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Pastor Jerry Hovater of The Little Country Church in New Caney, Texas, will lead the funeral at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013, at Earthman Funeral Home, and a committal service will follow at 3:15 p.m. at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road.

Serving as Pallbearers are Wiley Carter, Wyman Norton, Luis Garcia, Eddie Tucker, Chris Chavez and George Palomarez.
