Rebecca Jean Young

Becky was born May 21st, 1949, in Youngstown Ohio, to Robert E. Dill and Jean E. Gallo Dill. She lived a full life of love and laughter, and shared it with everyone she met. She enjoyed storytelling, giving nicknames, and singing. She shared everything with individuals on a personal level. She graduated from Struthers High School, class of 1968. She moved with her family from Ohio to Texas, in 1978. She worked most of her adult life in the Travel Industry and retired in 2000. She then devoted the rest of her life to taking care of and loving her family.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Debbie Tedrow. She is survived by, a dedicated and loving husband, Benjamin C. Young III of 16 years, mother in law Mary E. Young, brothers Jim and wife Judy Dill and Jack and wife Geri Dill and sister Maggie Nicalek, brother in law Ken Tedrow, her son Chris Dominick, wife Christine and their daughter Cate, her son Bryan Dominick, Lisa Dominick and their children Lauren, Hunter, Maddie and Brooke, a great grandson Colin Dominick and many nieces and nephews. Along with many others that she called her family.

Becky was a Breast Cancer Survivor of 12 years. She was active in raising awareness and advocating for prevention of all types of cancer with special emphasis on breast, pancreatic, and lung cancers.

In an unrelated illness she decided to fight until the end and she went to be with the Lord on August 11th at 2:00 p.m.

A celebration of Becky’s life will begin with a viewing, Saturday, August 19th, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, located at 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521, with the Memorial Services continued at the Earthman Baytown Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Reverend Dave Jirrels, will officiate her Memorial Service.
