Norma Faye Archer

Norma Faye Archer, 77, of Highlands, TX, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015, after a brief illness. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family immensely.

Norma was active in PTA, and served as a Homeroom Mother. She was a fabulous cook who loved making cookies and candies for the neighborhood. She loved arts & crafts and arranging flowers.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Tom & Vertie Webb; sister, Juanita Gardner; brothers, Gilbert Webb and J.T. Webb; her son, Larry; and her beloved husband of 54 years, George.

Norma is survived by her son, Terry Tillman, of Baytown; daughter, Cherry Bird and husband Wayne, of Crosby; grandchildren, Christy Fowler and husband Paul, of Baytown, Melissa Sims and husband Jeff, of Baytown, Jason Bird and wife Jamie, of Dayton, and Derrick Bird and wife Nikki, of Crosby; and great-grandchildren, Abby, Connor, Shelby, Jackson, Katie, Logan and Michalynn.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX, 77521.
