Nathan L. Franks, age 71 of Beach City, Texas, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023. He was born in Commerce, Texas on April 25, 1952 to Buford Leon Franks and Betty Jane Long. He was married to his high school sweetheart Cathryn Brown for 54 years. Nathan worked as a crane operator for 52 years.
He was a member of the Aldine Masonic Lodge #1412 for 50 years. He had a deep passion for flying airplanes, and playing pool. But his favorite past time was napping.
He was preceded in death; by his parents Buford and Betty Franks; son Nathan Leon Franks.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; his loving wife of 54 years Cathryn Franks; brother Tim Franks; daughter-in-law Christi Franks; grandson Nathan Leo Franks; granddaughter Alixis Rose Samples; grandson Nickalos Lon Franks; nephew Timothy Noel Franks; nephew Sean Franks; great grandchildren Stella Rose Samples, Wesley Draven Samples.
A memorial service for Nathan will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.
