Macaria Martinez Rios

Macaria Martinez Rios, 94, of Baytown, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 16, 2024. Macaria was born on February 28, 1930, in Robstown, Texas to her beloved parents Atanacio and Nicolasa Martinez.

Macaria was married to Guillermo B. Rios for 46 years. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great “grandma”. Macaria enjoyed gardening and cooking for all her family. She was a faithful and active member of Church of Christ South Main where she loved to serve the Lord and others. She had a sweet spirit and was loved by everyone and will be truly missed by her family, friends and church family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Guillermo Rios, daughters: Martha Rios Campos, San Juanita Rios Verdin, sons: Guillermo Rios, Jr., Eleazar Rios.

She is survived by her sons: Pedro Rios, Guadalupe Rios and wife Olga, daughters: Olivia Lopez, Sylvia Medrano and husband Angel, 25 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 10:00 am with a Celebration of Life starting at 11:00 am at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 pm at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.
