Linda Marie Robertson, 71, of Baytown, Texas, peacefully joined her Savior on Thursday, November 25, 2021, after a brief and courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born in Baytown, Texas, on August 13, 1950.
Linda was a devoted Christian and member of Rollingbrook Fellowship Church. Her life of ministry and service was a true reflection of her faithfulness and love for her Lord and Savior. Linda’s wit, charm, tenacity, and beauty was infectious and inspirational to all.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Walter Bud Robertson and Mary Lovett; stepfather Charles McFarland; brothers Robert and Gary Robertson; infant granddaughter Nicole Lucas; and a special aunt and uncle Linda Lucille and John T. Lovett.
Those left to cherish her memory are: Donny Robertson of Moss Hill, TX; son Justin Robertson and wife Amber of Moss Hill, TX; daughters Dana Lucas of Baytown, TX; Deborah Dunn and husband Greg of Natchitoches, LA; and Deana Butler and husband Clyde of Quitman, LA; grandchildren Candice Gaspard, Darryl Robertson, Clinton Dunn, Ashley Graves, Dylan Solice, Colby Dunn, Mason Lucas, Brayden Thayer, Addyson Robertson, and Levi Robertson; 6 great grandchildren; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Linda is also survived by a very special, childhood girlfriend Belvia Courvelle and a loving group of friends affectionately known as the “Rowdy Bunch.”
A celebration of life honoring Linda will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Rollingbrook Fellowship Church, 505 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521, with Pastor Bill Yowell officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 until the time of service with burial to follow at Earthman Memory Gardens.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are: Ray Davis, Greg Dunn, Colby Dunn, Darryl Robertson, Aron Robertson, and Kyle Carrier.
The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Linda’s church family for all the thoughts, prayers, meals, and support during this time. They would also like to extend a very warm thanks to the caring and compassionate staff of 2 South at Houston Methodist—Baytown.
