June Vaneska Moyer

June Vaneska (Morris) Moyer, 86, of Baytown, TX passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Proverbial Care Assisted Living in Pearland, TX. She was born March 17, 1932 in West Virginia to the late Earl H. and Florence Morris.

She was a homemaker for many years while her children were young, and later received her RN degree and worked in a management role at a local hospital for many years before retiring to enjoy two of her favorite hobbies; gardening and traveling.

June is survived by her husband, Billy D. Moyer, son, Arthur D. Moyer and his wife Karla of Baytown, TX, daughter Tobie Matusek and her husband Mark of Liverpool, TX, her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Joan Street of Trinity, TX and one brother, William (Bud) Morris of Slippery Rock, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tanya Acrey of Crosby, TX, whom she loved and missed dearly, two brothers and two sisters.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org in June’s memory.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Earthman Baytown Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 4, 2018 at The Chapel of the Chimes Mausoleum, Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd. Baytown, TX 77521.
