Julien Joseph Boutin

JJ married Rosa Mae Delome, on April 1, 1950. JJ and Rosa moved to Baytown, TX, in 1951. JJ served in the Emergency Corp. and Fire Chief for volunteer fire stations One and Three in Baytown. He also served as a staff sergeant in the Texas state guard, a Liberty County Fire Commission, a volunteer fire fighter for Westlake Fire Dept. in Dayton. JJ and Rosa were members of Old River Baptist Church.

JJ was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Howard, Pierre, and Eddie Boutin and Elizabeth Monceaux.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rosa Boutin; one brother, John and wife Wayne Etta Boutin. Sister-in-law Evelyn Gould, and seven children, Diane (Mike) McKinney, Howard Boutin, David (Lesa) Boutin, Leroy Boutin, Lonnie (Donna) Boutin, Michael Boutin, and Delia (Tomas) Jimenez. Twenty-one grandchildren, Madline (Darren) Edgett, Jay McKinney, Michelle Duran, Jeanette (Steve) Holdeman, Michelle (Randall) Messimer, D.J. (Jenn) Malone, Keith (April) Malone, Kaylie Malone, Katie (Junior) Trevino, Kathy Bray, Kassi (Donald) Groff, Kamea Boutin, Crystal (Ricky) Lemus, Heather (Eli) Craven, Wren (Brandi) Galloway, Brent Moore, Kim (Brandon) Robinson, Nikki (Ken) Wells, Triska Boutin, Blaze Munson, and Sarah Jimenez. Thirty-seven great grandkids and four great-great grandchildren with two on the way. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sister and brother in laws.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 21, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m., at Earthman Funeral Home, with Ronnie Webb and Ernie Hanks officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lonnie Boutin, Larry Delome, James Gardner, Alan Johnson, Lee Johnson, John Thomason, Andrew Thomason and Donald Groff. Honorary Pallbearers will be DJ Malone and Blaze Munson.
