Joselynn Michelle Chairez, 17, of Baytown, Texas, entered the gates of Heaven and into the loving arms of our father, Jesus Christ on July 11, 2020. “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” Luke 23:43. Joselynn was born on October 28, 2002 in Houston, Texas to Norma Martinez and Jose Chairez. Nena, as her family would call her, attended Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown, TX. Her classmates would describe her as an incredibly positive person. A day did not go by where they did not see her beautiful smile. Joselynn was a loving and caring daughter, sister, cousin, granddaughter and friend. Joselynn was extremely caring and generous to those she loved. If you had the pleasure of getting to know her, you can recall her goofy and funny nature, that created a lasting memory in your heart. Her style was bright and unique. She faced the world each day in one of her many favorite pairs of sneakers. She had many plans for the future and wanted to pursue a career as a pediatric doctor but God had different plans for her. She travels to Paradise with her beautiful mother, Norma Astrid Martinez , where she meets with her grandmothers Mercedes Martinez and Leonela Chairez. Her laughter, smile and beautiful soul will live on through her brothers, Francisco Martinez (wife Yesica Martinez), Jose Chairez Jr and Jonathon Chairez; her father Jose Chairez; her grandfather Genaro Martinez; her aunts and uncles, Dora and Alfonso Cavazos, Laura and Gilbert Estrada, Nora and Javier Castillo Genaro and Maria Martinez, Cesar and Letty Martinez, Gustavo and Sylvia Leyva, Rafael and Juana Chairez, Rodolfo and Yolanda Chairez and Mela Chairez; her nephew Nathaniel and also numerous cousins and friends.
