Jo Ann Wilson

Born in Pelly, Texas on October 25, 1937, to Henry and Mary Lou Miller Chance.

She is preceded in death by; her husbands Harold Elton Wilson and Jerry Wayne Wilson; parents Henry and Mary Lou Chance; son Quinton Wilson; sisters Tillie Philips, Margie Nettles, and Mary King.

She is survived by; daughters Sabrina Thompson, Becky Baumbach and husband John, Melissa Maddox all of Highlands, Texas; grandchildren Shane Thompson and wife Kandy of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Amy Tebo and husband Garland of Ames, Texas. Michael Thamm and wife Kelli of Needville, Texas, Joshua Baumbach and wife Katie of Spring, Texas, Tiffany Dement and husband Craig of Ellington, Missouri, Carrie Thamm, Candace Zaruba and husband Kevin, Chelsea Moore and husband Austin, Amanda Wilson, Denton Wilson all of Highlands, Texas, Calvin Maddox and fiancé Heather Tanksley of Alvin, Texas, Chance Maddox and wife DeAnna, Clint Wilson, Allen Baumbach and wife Kristy of Baytown, Texas, Liz Grabiel, Frankie Garnica, and Carlos Garnica and wife Courtney; 41 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters Sharon Mekalip and husband Ben of Mt. Belvieu,Texas and Bobbie Tilton of Crosby, Texas.

Jo Ann attended and graduated from Robert E Lee High School in Baytown, Texas, where she met Harold Wilson and married on August 19, 1955 in Pelly, Texas.

She loved spending time with family and friends, her love of fishing came next behind her love for going to the casinos to play the slots.

Serving as pallbearers: Shane Thompson, Michael Thamm, Calvin Maddox, Chance Maddox, Clint Wilson, Allen Baumbach and Josh Baumbach.

Honorary pallbearers John Baumbach and Ben Mekalip.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00pm, funeral is Friday, March 25, 2022 at 10am at Earthman Funeral home located at 3919 Garth Rd in Baytown, Texas. Burial will follow at Whites Cemetery is located at 1101 Crosby Lynchburg Rd in Highlands, Texas.
