James Ricky Yellott, 61, of Crosby, went to be with the Lord June 28, 2011. He was born in Vidor, TX, to Elmer and Florine Yellott. He was a graduate of Channelview High School. A long-time resident of Channelview, he enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley. He was a dedicated family man and a loyal employee of Exxon-Mobil for 28 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Margie Yellott; daughter, Leslie Clayburg and husband Albert; sons, Christopher Horsak and James Thomas Yellott and wife Amanda; three grandsons, Cody Clayburg, Kyler Yellott and Kolby Yellott; brother, Donnie Timothy Yellott and wife Vickie; sister, Catherine Williams, as well as numerous nieces, nephews other family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Earthman Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 1, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
