James lived in Baytown for the last 47 years and was a retired Electrical Engineer from Exxon after 41 years of service. He obtained his Masters' degree from Texas Tech University, was a founding member and Elder of Baytown Community Church, was active in the Coaches Outreach Program at Lee High School and was a member of the Exxon Retirees Club.
James is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bernie Hall; son, Derek Hall and his wife, Alicia; daughter, Jessica Chapman and her husband, Troy; grandchildren, Lisette Hall, Zoe Chapman and Sofia Hall; brother, Ron Hall and his wife, Peggy; nephew, Lee Hall; niece, Mendi Cooper and her husband, Richard and their family.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2016 with a service to begin at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Hill officiating. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center, Texas.
