Hollis Clifton Riley, 78, of Mont Belvieu, TX, passed away on July 17, 2024. He was born in Ruston, LA on December 28, 1945 to Hollis E. Riley and Clarice Holloway Riley. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, TX. He married the love of his life, Patricia, on September 4, 1965. Hollis was an avid outdoor enthusiast. He enjoyed camping, canoeing, hunting, and fishing, especially in Alaska.
Hollis retired from DuPont after 38 years as a professional pipefitter. He was an active member of Rollingbrook Fellowship, Bayton First Baptist Church. He enjoyed being part of the First Choice senior bible study and his daily walk with Jesus.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Clarice Riley. He is survived by wife, Paticia Riley; sister, Kathy Riley McComb; children, Cliff Riley, Shannon Folsom, husband Kenneth, and Shelly Hudgins, husband Gary; grandchildren, Kayla May and husband Jordan, Macenzie Dampier and husband Derrek, Mason Hudgins and wife Savannah, Mckade Hudgins and wife Julia, and Claire Riley; great grandchildren Addison, Zachary, and Landon.
He was a very loving husband, Dad, and Paw-paw. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life for Hollis will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Rollingbrook Fellowship, 505 Rollingbrook Dr, Baytown, Texas 77521.
