Helen Sue Tarver

Sue Tarver was born in Shreveport LA on November 26, 1946. On July 6, 1969 she married her soul mate, Chuck, and the ""Tarver Bunch"" was formed. During Chuck's twenty years of service in the Marine Corps, they traveled the country with their 5 children making countless life-long friends. If you were a friend of Sue's then you were considered family.

She was a very strong-willed, intelligent, compassionate lady that so many admired. She brought beauty to so many lives with her talents in cake design, ceramics, and many other crafts. She retired from the telecommunications industry as a Network Engineer where she excelled.

She was strong in her faith and in her beliefs. If she ever gave you the ""what for"", it only meant that she truly loved you. She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, a forever-friend, and a beautiful soul. She will be greatly missed.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Dorothy Roberts; sister, Katherine Michael and brother, Michael Roberts; Mother- in- law, Louise Tarver and father-in -law, Norman Tarver.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Tarver, Sr.; sons, Charles Tarver, Jr. and wife Julie, Daniel Tarver and wife, Melissa; daughters, Theresa Tarver, Stephanie Pearson and Melodie Scott; grandchildren, Megan, Courtney, Taylor, Jordan, Daniel Jr. and Nicholas Tarver, Rebecca and Candi Roper, Tiffany Roper Janice, and Crystal McClelland. Aaron, Jacob and David Pearson, Leah and Brittany Hare and Adam Scott. As well as 18 great-grandchildren and many extended family members.

The family will be holding a memorial visitation at the Fisher Rd. Baptist Church in Baytown on Saturday August 22, 2015 starting at 3:00 pm with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Fisher Rd Baptist Church where Sue and Chuck worshiped.
