Grace Miller

Grace “Mamaw” Miller, 92, 0f Baytown, passed peacefully with her grandchildren by her side Wednesday January 11, 2006. She was born in Gonzales, Texas October 5, 1913. She was a member of Wooster Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Mary Kerr; five brothers; three sisters; husband, Samuel Lloyd Miller; and daughter, Lois Thorn.

She is survived by brother-in-law, Jerrel Marcom; sister-in-law, Wanda Kerr; son-in-law, George Thorn; grandchildren, Wayne Coker and wife Sterle, Greg Coker, Terri Bogie and husband Mike; 6 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday at Navarre Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Roy Crowell. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands.

The family would like to extend special thanks to her caregivers at Unlimited Care, especially, Silver, Tiffany, and Sunshine, and the staff of Grace Hospice.
