Our “Young Married” group from Huntsville Church of Christ had so much fun doing things together back in the “eighties”. This trip to Cara Shiu’s family’s cabin in New Mexico is one of my favorite memories that includes Glynn and Karen, along with many other trips, game nights, fish fries at Eddie & Virginia Jones’ house, going out to eat, and a myriad of other activities. I know that many of us from Sam Houston Bible Chair days are remembering Glynn fondly and thinking of Karen and family.  Glynn was a good Christian man and everybody loved him.  The testimonies of friends reveal that he kept the faith.  

One of my greatest memories was going home with Glynn to Fort Meyers for spring break.  I had never been anywhere, so it was quite an experience for me.  We drove straight through in his classic beautiful blue 442 Olds.  I loved it and always appreciated Glynn for inviting me.

I met Glynn at the Bible Chair while at SHSU. He was a great friend.  As a new Christian he was a great influence in my life by putting God first and letting his light shine for the Lord in all that he did.   We were both Industrial Arts majors and oftentimes had some of the same classes together. I always thought Glynn could do just about anything and was someone you could go to if you had a question about how to do something. Linda and I always looked forward to the times were able to get to spend with y’all over the years.  We will miss Glynn, but will treasure the memories of the times we shared. The Williams cousins on the side of Grandpa & Grandma’s garage on Kellogg Avenue in Waukegan, Illinois in 1968(?). Glynn is the first one in the front row on the left.  We always had a lot of fun together!

Glynn was a true friend while we were together at TPC. Always good for a conversation and a laugh. He never failed to talk about his lovely wife Karen. So sorry to hear about his passing.  -Ray Brod

My favorite memory of Glynn is how in the world did he get Karen on her own motorcycle and taking great trips. Those trips had to be a blast. (Excluding one trip).  Love you guys

Glynn and I worked together 16 years at TPC.  Glynn was a man of good character and had a big heart.  Glynn and his wife illustrated their love for each other because I remember many times Glynn and his wife having these long conversations on the phone at 2 in the morning until almost time to go home.Praying for the family in this time of a great loss.

Glynn is the little guy in the front of all his cousins, his daddy, mother and grandmother. We loved our family. Glynn was such a sweet child that grew into a sweet spirited man.

Wish we had gotten to know Glynn better. When we think of Glynn from our occasional family gatherings it’s his smile that stands out. He always had a smile on his face even through his trials of the last few years. Also have to comment on my(Greta) visit with Karen in the hospital. It says a lot about Glynn when his wife says “He treated me like a queen”. Karen praying for peace and comfort for you in the time ahead and so thankful you were blessed with such a loving husband. We’ve  always enjoyed talking with Glynn at family gatherings.  He always had a story and I loved his dry sense of humor. He will be missed.  Praying for you, Karen, and the rest of the family.

Karen, I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences and sympathies to you.  I know you are very  thankful Glynn  is now pain free and with God. If you ever need to talk I am available- sometimes talking helps. Much love and prayers to you Karen.

I had the opportunity to work with Glynn for a few years and always I saw him as a gentle person with a smile in his face even under difficult situations. He enjoyed teaching and helping others and he will be missed. God bless his family in this difficult moment.

I remember Glynn & Karen smiles.  They always greeted one with 
awesome smiles.  When talking with Glynn, one had knowledge that he was actually listening.  Glynn had joy in his heart and im thankful for his example as one of Christ Servants.  I remember Glynn  and Carey Price work in Huntsville, Texas.  Glynn had a great work ethic. Thursday BC lunches!   Im grateful for the time period in which we shared during the college  years at Sam Houston State University.  Scott Head nailed  it, Glynn has finished the race!

Glynn was a gentle soul who loved God and cherished life.  I had a pleasure of working with Glynn for many years at TPC.  We shared many laughs together and have many great memories working together. He was a man of integrity who I can trust and respect. I’ll truly miss him.

Oh the conversations we shared, and the memories we made as fellow supv’s at TPC. I saw his love for his savior and his fellow man. Glynn was always prepared to go the extra mile.  Love you my friend and May God bless your family.

Glynn was a fine man that loved the Lord and will be missed by many.  When I think about Glynn it brought me to 2 Timothy 4:7 which states “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”.   
May God bring the family peace and comfort during this difficult time.

I so enjoyed working with Glynn during my time at TPC, 30 years. He was always to easy to work alongside. Prayers for all of you his family.

I am so sorry to hear the passing of Gleen. He was such a great friend and co-worker ,he will definitely be missed. My condolences the family.

Glynn was such an amazing friend and TPC partner to everyone.  We had a lot of great conversations about work, family and just life in general.  When I first started at TPC, Glynn was an amazing mentor especially when we found out that his neighbor Don Jennings was a very good friend and past co-worker of mine.   My deepest condolences to all of his family and friends as Glynn will be greatly missed.
