Mr. Donahue had lived in Baytown since 1957 and was a retired shift supervisor from Gulf after 38 years of service. He was a dedicated Christian where he served as a deacon for over 30 years at Pruett and Lobit Church of Christ and he looked forward to the eternal promise of Heaven and being reunited with his granddaughter.
Frank proudly served as a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ray Donahue and a granddaughter, Kimberly Miller Peck.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Pat Donahue of Baytown; son, Michael Donahue of Belton, Texas; daughter, Carla Miller and her husband Kenny of Baytown; daughter-in-law, Sheila Donahue of Belton; grandchildren, Jennifer Young and her husband Cody, Melissa Anderson and her husband Brian, Vandon Donahue and Lance Peck; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Blake Young, Katie and Kiley Peck, Carson, Landon and McKinley Anderson. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Janice Dunham, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Navarre Funeral Home. Military honors will be rendered starting at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2014 followed by services at the funeral home with Mr. Jesse Flowers officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
