Felix was born to Manuel DeLeon and Maria Villareal DeLeon, November 20, 1946, in Kenedy, Texas. He married Lucia Ramirez DeLeon in 1968, and they lived together in Baytown, Texas. Together they raised two children.
He is survived by: Norma Brindza (Richard), Ruben Servantes (Angela). He also leaves to cherish his memory, grandkids: Elizabeth (Lane)Turner, Anthony (Heather) Brindza, Katarina Servantes, great grandkids: Skylar, Wyatt and Jaysen. Sister: Manuela Mendieta, and brothers: Aniseto and Christobal DeLeon and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Manuel DeLeon, his mother Manuela DeLeon, brothers: Cosme DeLeon, Mario DeLeon, Eugene DeLeon, Santos DeLeon and sisters: Yolanda Salazar, Gloria DeLeon.
Felix worked as a dispacher for BFI/Republic Waste for 29 years. He enjoyed spending time with the love of his life, Lucy, grand-kids, and his numerous nieces and nephews. He enjoyed cheering on his hometown Texans and Houston Astros. He loved volunteering within his community with local food drives. He was a man of Christ and never met a stranger. He would always go out of his way to make everyone he encountered feel loved and special. He was a member of St Joseph Church in Baytown.
A visitation and Rosary are scheduled for Friday, December 6, 2024, 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home 3919 Garth Rd, Baytown, TX 77520. A mass will be held for him on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 10:00 am at St Joseph Catholic Church 1907 Carolina Ave, Baytown, TX 77520 where Rev. Thuc Nguyen will officiate the ceremony.
