Eunice Guillory

Eunice Guillory, 80, of Baytown, went to meet the Lord on Wednesday January 25, 2006. She was born in Cecilia, Louisiana April 17, 1925 to her parents, Leon and Lovina Courville. She retired from The Methodist Hospital where she worked in housekeeping for 15 years. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and Baytown Community Center Grandmothers Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; nine siblings; granddaughter, Verna Lisa Dutton; grandson, Jeffery Laperouse; sons-in-law, Dewey “Buddy” Evans, Donald Johnson Sr.

She is survived by her children, Willie Roy Johnson of Bedias, TX, Florence M. Dutton and husband Vernon Douglas Dutton Sr. of Conroe, TX, Brenda Gayle Evans of Baytown, TX, Thomas Joseph Guillory and wife Pat of Kerrville, TX, Kirt Douglas Guillory and wife Allison of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Angela Lawhorn, Donald Lawhorn Jr., Michael Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Tricia Blundell, Monica Patrick, Angela Munoz, Janice Brengle; great grandchildren, Stephen Lawhorn, Susan Lawhorn, C. J. Lawhorn, Andrew Lawhorn, Jessica Lawhorn, James Lawhorn, Nicholas Johnson, Tatum Johnson, Haydon Johnson, Daniel Scott Johnson, Isabel Johnson, Brooklyn Johnson, Leann Blundell, Larry Blundell Jr., Emily Blundell, Tanner Douglas Patrick, Christian Munoz, Joshua Munoz, Sebastian Munoz, Gabriel Munoz, Nicholas Brengle, and Emily Brengle; Brother, Jessie Courville and wife Jane of Eunice, Louisiana; and numerous close friends, neighbors, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and residents of Baytown Nursing Home for the loving care of their mother. Also a special thanks goes out to St. Marks Methodist Church Stepping Stone School.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A graveside service is scheduled for Friday at 12:00 p.m. at Cedarcrest Cemetery, officiated by Rev. William Oliver.

Grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pall bearers.
