Ellen "Kathy" Kathleen Roberts

Ellen Kathleen Roberts, 65, of Baytown, Texas better known by her family and friends as Kathy went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. She was born in Stockton, California to Sylvester Placencia and Ruth Holbrook.

Kathy shared a wonderful and loving life with her husband for 34 years. She had a spirited and passionate nature, known by all who spent time with her. She enjoyed holiday gatherings, cooking and working in her flower garden. When she was not spending time in her garden you could find her with her feet in the sand and toes in the water. Kathy loved spending time at the beach, at the river, going fishing and the rodeo. She had a passion for writing children’s stories. Kathy and her friends enjoyed shopping, laughing and just having a festive time together. She will be missed by all who knew her and memories for ever cherished.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth Holbrook and Sylvester Placencia; son, Tracy; daughter, Diane; sister, Pamela and brother, Glenn.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Thomas Roberts; son, Michael Carrico wife Heather; daughter, Sunshine Roberts husband Dwain; brothers, Reyes, Phillip, Tracy; sister, Michelle; grandchildren, Kelly, Angeleanna, T.J., Trace, Andrea, Zoe, Taylor, Adison and along with many great-grandchildren.

Services are under the direction of Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Rd. Baytown, Texas 77521. Family will be receiving friends for visitation on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home and a light meal of condolences will be provided. Funeral service is to follow at 2:00pm.
