Dennis Ray Parker was born on the 4th of July,1947 in Los Angeles, California. His grandmother, Mabel Parker, raised him from a very young age. He grew up in the cities of Geenville and Commerce, here in Texas.
Dennis graduated high school and soon started college. There he met Mary Koinm, and lost interest in school. Not too long after, they started their family.
He was a sweet, loving man, very easy going. He would do just about anything for anybody. Dennis loved life and had many interests. He loved fishing, camping, boating and even gambled a little bit. He loved working on cars and was a front-end specialist. He had his own shop in Stafford, Texas for many years where he taught the trade to his oldest son Wray. Dennis loved his family very much and loved spending time with them.
Dennis is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mabel; youngest son, Jerry, and many other dear loved ones from the Parker family.
Dennis is survived by; his wife Pam Herdt Parker; his children, June Parker Keith and husband Richard, Wray Warren Parker and wife Janet, Robbie Hodge and Sheena Gordon; grandchildren Katelynn Elizabeth Holland, Jesse Julius Holland, Anthony Hodge, Nathan Mixon Hodge, Ronnie Thomas, Kailani Hodge; great-grandchildren Kayden Mixon and Katalina Mixon. Most importantly his loyal sidekick, KoKo, the cutest little bow-legged dog ever!
He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
A memorial service for Dennis will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521, followed by a reception from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
