Charlie Sue, 74, of Baytown was born August 4, 1935 in Baytown and passed away Monday, August 24, 2009 in a local hospital. He was a 1953 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and attended the University of Houston School of Law and was a U. S. Army veteran. He was a local real estate developer in the mid 60’s and early 70’s and prominent farmer and rancher in Harris and Chambers counties. He was also the owner of Select Firearms in Baytown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Ethyl Sue and is survived by his son, Tracy Sue and daughter, Cheryl Sue, both of Baytown; grandchildren, Amie Sue, Casey Sue and wife Brooke and Katie Sue Watts and husband Justin; and he was awaiting the arrival of his first great granddaughter. He is also survived by his faithful companion and dog, Cowboy.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Friday, August 28, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
