Charles Lloyd Charlie Riggs

He was preceded in death by his parents, Essie and Connie Riggs; daughter, Tracy Mullican; brother, Flevia Riggs; sister, Mary Brawner; daughter-in-law, Candy Peterson; son, Michael Peterson; and grandson, Donnie Peterson II. He is survived by his wife, Nini Riggs; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy Riggs, Kirsten and Mitchell Jackson, and Liselotte and Todd Kokott; son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Angela Peterson; sisters, Betty Burcham, Ollie Leatherwood, Mildred Floyd, and Patricia Cooley; brother, Troy Riggs; 22 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and special four legged friends, Billy, Paco, and Angel.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services with Masonic rites will be Friday, June 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Lowe officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Miller, Gary Williams, Mitchell Jackson, Keith Payne, Todd Kokott, Donnie Crocker, and Donnie Peterson. Honorary pallbearer is John Cooling.
