He was born April 9, 1926 in Waldo Arkansas, lived in Mont Belvieu for the last 44 years, was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and a retired Electrical Engineer from Arco Petrochemical/Lyondell.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Pettigrew, his parents, 3 brothers and a sister.
Mr. Pettigrew is survived his sons, Tim Pettigrew of Mont Belvieu, Mark Pettigrew and his wife, Beverlyn, of Desoto, Kansas and Scott Pettigrew and his wife, Monica, of Pasadena and grandchildren, Aaron and Kaitlyn Pettigrew of Bellaire and Dyzek and Kaden Pettigrew of Pasadena.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Navarre Funeral Home with Doug Williams officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at the funeral home.
