Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Williams; son, Dennis Williams and her parents, William and Willie Travis. She is survived by her son Royce Williams and wife Kathy, daughter, Kim Hall and husband Fred; grandchildren Gavin Williams, Jason Smith and wife Heather, Heather Phillips and husband Jody.
Betty enjoyed life to the fullest. After marrying Jack she focused on raising their family. They enjoyed taking their children all over the country in a pop-up camper. After her children were raised she held several jobs. The most rewarding to her was the 20 years she spent with GCCISD. After retirement she enjoyed quilting, tutoring children who struggled to read, theater, square dancing, genealogy, and even upgraded her travels to cruising. Her “Whataburger Sunday School Class” was another activity she wholeheartedly looked forward to each week. She considered family and friends to be her greatest treasures.
