Barbara Pearce

Mrs. Pearce graduated from Galena Park High School in 1952, was a longtime resident of Baytown and former owner-operator of The Galley restaurant. She also was a member of the Pilot Club and enjoyed gardening, traveling and especially being with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, LeRoy Pearce.

Survivors include her children, Susan Blevins and her husband Tommy of Galena Park, Ronald Pearce and his wife Linda of Yuma, Arizona and Gary Pearce and his wife Jane of Baytown; sister, Francine Angel of Baytown; brothers, Billy Baldwin and his wife Helen of Bedias and Tommy Baldwin of LaPorte; grandchildren, Scott Blevins and Rita Klein, Matthew and Kristina Blevins, Sydney Pearce, Alex Pearce, Robbyn Lee and Lisa Mendenhall and 4 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2012 at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Beck officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kay and Johnnie Rountree Scholarship Fund in care of the Galena Park ISD Education Foundation. Donations may be mailed to 14705 Woodforest Blvd. Houston, Texas 77015.
