He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Imogene Garrett and daughter, Laura Jean Garrett and is survived by his wife, Judy Anderson Garrett, sons and daughter-in-law, Justin Garrett and Brenden Garrett, all of Mont Belvieu and Brian and Christine Burroughs of Hurst; brothers and sister-in-law, Victor Garrett Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK and Douglas and Susie Garrett of Lawton, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Valerie and Danny Bishop of Lawton, OK; grandson, Sebastian Burroughs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Jake Porter officiating. Graveside services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Century Memorial Park in Shreveport, LA.
