Theola Vonceil Skipper LeBlanc, 84, from Central City, Louisiana, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior on Monday, February 23, 2015. Her departure came at home with her daughter, son-in-law and grandson by her side. Born March 16, 1930 in Buckatunna, Mississippi to John Talley Skipper and Neola Jordan Skipper, Vonceil was the oldest of ten brothers and sisters. Only completing the eighth grade, she spent much of her teen years caring for her younger siblings. As a young adult, she moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she worked for the Telephone Company and Piccadilly Cafeteria. She met and soon married Paul Jules LeBlanc in 1953, raising five children in Sunshine, Louisiana. Vonceil is survived by her sons David LeBlanc of Huntington, Arkansas, Steven LeBlanc of Gonzales, Louisiana and daughter, Angela LeBlanc Boyer of Central City, Louisiana. Additionally, she is survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six siblings and two children. Services will be held at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church with visitation from 9:00-11:00 A. M., with the funeral service starting at 11:00 A.M. on February 28, 2015.
