Troylyn Jackson-Green

Troylyn “Troy” Green, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away February 15, 2023, at the age of 62. Troy was born in New Orleans, LA on November 28, 1960. She graduated from Donaldsonville High School, class of 79’ and attended Westside Technical College with a Medical/Nursing background providing patient care services. Troy enjoyed reading, was an avid shopper, loved watching Western films and shows, but most of all, spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving spouse of 22 years, Pernell Green; mother, Lucinda Cox; daughters, Latoya (Gerald) Gordon, Sarah (Isiah) Jones, step-daughter, Shannah Green; son, Jermaine (Stephanie) Stell; step-sons, Aaron (Angelica) Green, Jason (Melissa) Green, Shannon Green and Jarvis Green; sisters, Ralfiel Stell and Leslie Stell; brothers, Earl Cox, Derrick Cox, and Gerald Cox; beloved granddaughters Sian and Monique (Camille), a host of loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren through marriage; and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her grandparents Johnny and Victoria Stell; stepfather, Earl Cox Sr.; devoted aunts, Louise Harden and Barbara (Robert) Leblanc, cousins Russell Jackson and Christopher Jackson; father and mother in-law Joseph and Jennie Green; and brother in-laws, Joseph Green III, Elridge Green and Leroy Green. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Jermaine Stell, Earl Cox, Derrick Cox, Gerald Cox, Aaron Green, Shannon Green, Jarvis Green, and Jason Green.
