Thomas Eugene Simmons

"Tommy Simmons, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Monday, March 6, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was 76. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Thursday, March 9, from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Burial will be at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife, Donnie Simmons; son, Tim Simmons and fianceé, Laura Martin; daughters, Kathy Simmons Cobb and husband Danny, and Rhonda Simmons; granddaughter, Ashley Lewis; brother, Ric Simmons; adopted son, J. C. Rivett; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Katherine Simmons. Tommy's kind, gentle manner and sweet smile will be missed by all.
