Silvia Victoria Hooker

Silvia Victoria Hooker passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at The Crossing @ Clarity Hospice at the age of 80 years. She was born in Leon, Nicaragua. All of her education was completed in Nicaragua. She came to the United States in September of 1988 where she worked at the Country Club of Louisiana and Bocage Racquet Club in Baton Rouge,La. She is survived by her four children, Donald Flores (Imelda) of California, Alicia Hooker Schexnaydre (Rhett) of Gonzales, LA, Javier Hooker (Kelley) of Baton Rouge, LA and Josua Hooker (Kensasha) of Baton Rouge, LA; Eleven grandchildren, Henry Jonathan and Kevin Flores, Grace Pederson (Tanner), Caroline and Scarlett Schexnaydre, Javier, Jr. (Linda), Marisa, Madison and Mason Hooker, Aasharryia and Aamairaini Hooker; five great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday January 20, 2024, from 9:00-11a.m. Funeral mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Center on L.S.U. campus, celebrated by Fr. Matthew Dunn. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at OLOL, the Heritage Manor rehab and The Crossing at Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge.
