Sage Anthony Wilson

Sage Anthony Wilson, a beloved son, father, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 25 on February 22, 2024. His life was tragically cut short, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. Sage was a remarkable soul who touched the hearts of everyone he met. His love for his family was unwavering, and he cherished his mother, Stacey Wilson, with a devotion that knew no bounds. He would always end texts with family by saying "Love you more". His son was the light of his life. Sage reveled in every moment spent with Baby Sage laughing together, playing video games, riding in the car. Their bond is unbreakable, and Sage's eyes would light up whenever he spoke of his son. To his friends, he was family. The kind that would stand by you through thick and thin. Sage is survived by his parents, Stacey Wilson and Hillery Bell, Fred Bethea, who was like a father to him, his son, Sage Anthony and his son's mother, Dashea Mitchell, his aunt Sherry Wilson and her daughter Evan, his aunt Sydney Wilson and her daughter Carmen, and his grandmother, Linda Wilson. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Timothy Wilson. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. We mourn the loss of a young man who had so much more life to live, so many more memories to create. Visitation to celebrate Sage's life with be held on Wednesday, March 6, from 11:00AM until service time at 2:00PM at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA 70815. Pallbearers will include Dominique Jacobsen, Marcel Richard, Marvin Richardson, Le'Artay Walker, Justin Weatherspoon and Sydney Wilson.
