"Robert Casper Reynolds, a native of Kings Mountain, Kentucky and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on April 10, 2018 at the age of 91. Bob was born on April 16, 1926 to B and Enoel Reynolds of Kentucky. He graduated Ludlow High School in 1944 and attended the University of Cincinnati. He served in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He retired from Westinghouse Electric after 33 years. He was an avid gardener and fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lucille Ann Reynolds; daughter, Linda Dutreix and her husband Rodney; son-in-law, Stephan Badertscher; grandchildren, Elisabeth Brooks, Evan Badertscher, Laura Badertscher, Lindsay Dutreix, and Jeremy Dutreix; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, LeeAnn Reynolds. A visitation will be on Monday, April 16, 2018 at St. George Catholic Church, from 10:00 a.m. until a Funeral Mass at 11:00, celebrated by Fr. Mike Schatzle. Inurnment will be in St. George Cemetery Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph Hospice and The Carpenter House, Dr. Brady Guillory, Dr. Gerald Barber, and friends and family who gave support during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to March of Dimes or a charity of your choice.
