Riley J. Vosburg, born in New Roads on March 15, 1939, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011. He was a graduate of Morganza High School. He served in the Army in the 14th Armored Calvary (APO 26) and was honorably discharged in 1965. He retired from Exxon in 1999 after 34 years of employment. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 27, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday, April 28, from 10 a.m. until service at noon. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Riley is survived by his wife, Anna Vosburg; children, David Eaton, Cyndi Vosburg McManus and Chris Vosburg; grandchildren, Jason Creighton, David Eaton, Jonathan Eaton, Lacey Sykes, Julie Eaton, Christopher Vosburg, Matthew Eaton, Dillon Ash, Chelsea Vosburg, Trace McManus, Ryleigh Ana McManus, Garrett McManus and Kailee Ash; great-grandchildren, Colby Creighton, Jory Creighton, Brady Creighton, and Alayna Creighton; great-great-granddaughters, Kaylee Bordelon and Lila Sykes; siblings, Hilda Kemp, Nelton Vosburg, Jane Landry, Marlene Pourciau, Billy Horton and Glenda Ginn; and numerous nieces and nephews. Riley was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar J. Vosburg and Louisette Mix Vosburg; siblings, Shirley Vosburg, Donald Vosburg and Stephen Vosburg; and daughter, Annelie Creighton.
