Percival Lange LeBlanc, died on February 2, 2021. She was a native of New Orleans and has called Baton Rouge home since 1957. She was a graduate of The Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans and attended Loyola University. After working for many years, she was happy to be a stay-at-home mom and a housewife. She also had many volunteer activities throughout the years. She is survived by her daughters Michelle “Mimi” LeBlanc Richardson and husband, Dr. Romie N. Richardson of San Antonio,TX and Emily LeBlanc Reech and husband, Christopher D. Reech of Baton Rouge. Also surviving are her granddaughters, Nicole Marie Richardson of Austin, TX and Margaret Marie Richardson of San Antonio, TX and her grandson, Timothy Daniel Reech of Las Vegas, NV. Percival LeBlanc was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Wallace LeBlanc, her parents, Sidney A. Lange, Sr. and Emily Percival Douglas Lange, an infant granddaughter, Danielle LeBlanc Root, her brothers, Reverend Sidney A. Lange, Jr and John H. Lange Sr., and her sister, Louise Lange Stewart.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 PM on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Avenue. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred or a contribution to a charity of your choice.
