Patricia Faye Thibodeaux Free

“He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.” Psalm 91:4 Patricia Thibodeaux Free, age 76, resident of Zachary, LA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 28, 2022. She was a preschool teacher for over 30 years and taught religious education at St. John's in Zachary. She loved every child that entered her classroom and teaching them about Jesus, and later, ran St. Paul's Christian Book Store and Coffee Shop, which she loved doing. Patricia is survived by her children, Lisa Cupit and Jason Free (Amanda); grandchildren, Amanda Hebert (Travis), Adam Cupit (Lyndsey) and Allison Cupit; and great-grandchildren, Hayden, Archer, Hensley and Adalynn. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, George H. Free; parents, Alex and Ouida Thibodeaux; brothers, Richard and Gerald Thibodeaux; and son-in-law, Raphael Cupit. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Friday, May 6, 2022, from 9:30am until the time of memorial services at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial park. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Grace Nursing Home in Slaughter, LA, for making her time there so special and treating her like family.
