Nicole Marie Guerin

Nicole Marie Guerin was born in New Orleans and died in her home in Prairieville, LA. She was 59 years old at the time of her death.Nicole grew up in New Orleans with her parents and three sisters. She graduated from Dominican High School in 1980. She went to Louisiana State University where she met her husband, Cary Bourgeois. Nicole graduated from LSU with a Bachelors degree and later graduated from LSU Law School with a Juris Doctorate Degree. Nicole practiced law for many years before choosing to stay home to spend time with her two children, Chloe and Lillian. Nicole enjoyed going to LSU baseball games with her family, and taking photos of her family, friends, and her community. She enjoyed sewing and quilting and over the years she finished several quilts and made many costumes for herself and her family for Halloween, Mardi Gras, and other special occasions. She volunteered in her community, the local public schools, and in Girl Scouts whenever she could. Nicole is survived by her husband, Cary Bourgeois, her daughters Chloe and Lillian, future daughter-in-law Abigail, her parents Merle Guerin and Russell Guerin, her sisters Michele, Mignon, and Madeleine, her mother and father-in-law, and six nieces and nephews. Nicole’s family will be holding funeral services at Rabenhorst Funeral Home Saturday, October 16th, 2021. Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with a service following at 2:00pm.
