Michael D. Kennedy

Michael David Kennedy, born July 15, 1964 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 27, 2024. He was a man of few words and immensely loyal to family and friends. Michael is survived by his incredibly devoted wife of nearly 35 years, Carla McGlothren Kennedy; mother, Barbara Braud Kennedy; along with a host of Braud, Kennedy, and McGlothren uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, David Lucien Kennedy; infant siblings, Mark and Krista Kennedy; father-in-law, Carlos McGlothren; uncle Rufus and aunt Pearl McLean; maternal grandparents, Cleveland and Nellie Duvic Braud; paternal grandparents, Louis and Agnes Kennedy; uncle Raymond and aunt Edna G. Kennedy. Visitation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs at 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. concelebrated by Fr. Matthew Graham and Fr. Paul Counce. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers: James and Jacob Rowe, Stephen, Tommy, Michael, and Brandon McGlothren, and John Trigueros; Russell McIntyre.
