Marie Kent Lockhart

Marie Kent Lockhart, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Central, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the age of 79. She is survived by her children: Russell and Ann Lockhart, Robert and Marie Pourciau, Ronald and Jennifer Pourciau, and Lisa and Albert Dupre; her siblings: Violet LaCoste, Jeannie Pourciau, Shirley Jarreau, and Raymond Kent; 18 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Virginia Love Kent and Robert Kent; three brothers: Robert Kent, Roy Kent, and Huey Kent; and a sister, Paula Wilson. Visitation will be on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Boulevard. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker.
