Marie Dupuy, lovingly known as “Rie Rie”, passed away on March 27, 2021 at the age of 76. She retired as an accountant from the State of Louisiana. Rie Rie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to the casino, sitting on her patio watching and feeding the birds, and especially loved serving others.
She is survived by her loving children, Melanie Parker (Stafford), Robin Harris, and Carey Dupuy (Nikki); grandchildren, Samantha, Alexis, and Judah Parker, Candance Brumfield, Victoria Liberte, Madison Harris, and Reed and Owen Dupuy; her sister, Starr Botzet (Larry); and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dupuy, Sr.; parents, Rodney and Vivian Marie Landry Self; and 3 brothers, Rodney, Jr., Wilbur and Melvin Self.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 12 pm until time of funeral service at 2 pm.
