A Health Care Consultant and resident of Central, Linda died at 3:09 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Promise Hospital. She was 67 and a native of Magee, MS. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 5pm until 8 pm and resumes on Monday, May 5, from 9 am until religious services at 11 am conducted by Rev. Rick Sullivan. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Linda is survived by her daughters, Mary Robyn Welch and Jamie Marie Welch; sons, Kenneth Earl Welch, Jr., Devon Lane Welch and Max; sister, Mary Eunice Womack, brother, James Burl Kimbrough; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, James Kimbrough; mother, Katherine Temple Kimbrough; husband, Kenneth Earl Welch, Sr.; and Junior, Jordan and Chester. Pallbearers will be Devon Welch, Cody Welch, Austin Welch, Kenneth Welch, Jr., Dr. Donald E. Hines and Dillon Hull. Packing up the dreams God planted in the fertile soil for you, can't believe the hope He's granted, means this chapter in your life is through. But we'll keep you close as always, it won't even seem you're gone, cause our hearts in big and small ways, will keep your love that kept us strong. Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Linda Jane Kimbrough Welch, left us peacefully. Once she makes sure heaven is operating the way she wants, there is no doubt she will continue to watch over, protect and fight for those she loved.
