Linda Sue Poché Brown was born January 13, 1951, to Betty and Tot Poché. She resided in Baton Rouge most of her life, graduated from St. Joseph Academy and attended the University of Lafayette studying Home Economics and Art. After a hard walk in life to then becoming sober, she attended medical college becoming a CNA with that career leading to the care of her parents. She was married and divorced to the late Timothy Joseph Chambers, ex-husband Donald Darcourt, and ex-husband Bruce Brown. She loved her Cocker Spaniels that she bred and many other dogs, cats, and fish left in her care. She was dedicated to her work and her patients with dementia and alzheimers until she retired in 2021 when she began her journey of decline. She loved her coffee, cokes and cigarettes, Channel 9 and NCIS until her dementia took those from her memory. She resided with her daughter, Kelsy, and family in Denham Springs until her passing. Ms. Linda Poché Brown was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Aertker Poché and Elmore Paul "Tot" Poché, and two siblings, Col. Charles David Poché and Sally Poché Mitchell. She is survived by her brothers, William Scott Poché and Paul Poché, Jr., by her children, Jason Chambers, Kelsy Chambers-Weber, Dashell Darcourt. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Chris Mitchell (Angela Mitchell and Abbey Mitchell), Anna Mitchell (and Avery Mitchell), Beth Poché (son), Daniel Poché and Katie Poché. Linda was blessed to have seen her grandchildren, Annisa Chambers Rodney (Nicholas Rodney, Sr), Brooke Chambers (Devonte Belvin) , Madeline Weber, Kathryn Weber, Timothy Weber, Adan Weber, Joshua Richard, Cody Duke, and Jayden Richard, and great grandchildren, Nicholas Rodney, Jr, Jayden Belvin and Jordynn Belvin. Graveside service at Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd., to be held on December 19, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. We will meet inside before and after the service.
