Kinzey J Reeves

Kinzey Joe Reeves born on January 26, 1950 in Waterloo, Iowa passed away on January 14, 2023. Mr. Reeves was a graduate of North Pike High School in Summit, MS. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Illinois Central Railroad as a conductor. He was a long time resident of Baton Rouge, LA.

He is preceded in death by parents John and Betty Reeves of McComb, MS. Two brothers Bob Reeves of Petal, MS and Billy Reeves of McComb, MS.

He is survived by one son Joseph Reeves (Melinda Reeves) of McComb, MS, three grandchildren Allison McKenzie, Hunter Reeves and Breigha Reeves of McComb, MS. Two brothers Chuck Reeves (Judy Reeves) of Murfreesboro, TN and Jimmy Reeves of McComb, MS. One nephew Jonathan King of Bogue Chitto, MS and two nieces Danielle Dye of Jayess, MS and Stormi Heinke of Petal, MS. He will be deeply missed by many lifelong friends and extended family.

Mr. Reeves enjoyed playing rounds of golf with his close friends and cruising with Carnival cruise lines. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality, deep love for his son and grandchildren and close bonds with his friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Patio Lounge in Baton Rouge, LA on January 28, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
